Junior Singles Event - 4 separate classifications with separate prizes
1.   CLASSIC DIVISION - Boys & girls combined: 195 averages and over. All scoring is scratch.
2.   AA DIVISION handicap - Boys:140-194 average
3.   AA DIVISION handicap - Girls: 140-194average
4.   B DIVISION handicap - Boys & Girls combined: 139 averages and below
(For handicap events, calculation is 90% of 195)
 
ENTRY DEADLINE:  Entries received after November 24, 2007 will be $10.00 more. (Extra monies go into scholarship prize fund.) Limited to the first 216 paid entries. Re-entry is allowed at the original cost (no late fees will be applied).
 
TOURNAMENT FORMAT  Entrants will bowl 5 (five) games across 10 lanes. Squads will be mixed from all 4 divisions and lane assignments will be drawn at random by tournament staff. Qualifying pinfall will carry over into semi-finals.
 
Semi-finals will start following the Sunday morning qualifying round, approximately 1:30 p.m. Semi-finals will be 5 games. The top 6 semi-finalists in each division shall bowl stepladder finals as follows: finalists placing 4, 5 and 6 in each division bowl off with the highest scorer advancing to compete against the #3 qualifyier, etc. All 4 divisions will compete at the same time.
 
The tournament will follow all USBC Youth rules, conduct and slacks and collared shirt, please.
 
 
You may bowl the tournament more than once if openings are available.  
 
AVERAGES  Entrants will use their highest sanctioned average for 2006-2007 (including recurring tournaments, summer and travel leagues unless current average of 21 or more games (as of November 20, 2007) is higher.) If higher, use current average. If no sanctioned average, entrant will bowl in the scratch division. A copy of yearbook and/or standing sheets MUST be provided prior to tournament play for average verification. If no average verification, entrant will bowl in scratch division. Average verifications can be mailed with entry or faxed to 503 390-6994 no later than November 24, 2007.
 
 
SQUADS  There are 2 qualifying squads available. The top one-third (1/3) from each division will advance to the semi-finals on Sunday afternon.

SEMI-FINALS  Sunday, Dec. 2nd - 1:30 PM Semi-finalists will be posted after 12 PM on Sunday.
