Gerry Taylor was inducted as the 3rd OSUSBC recipient of the Hall of Fame during the Annual Meeting Banquet in Roseburg at the Douglas County Fairgrounds in May of 2008.

Gerry began her bowling activities in Roseburg in 1970. In 1975, she and her late husband, Dave, moved to Washington DC due to a job transfer of Dave’s. While there for three years they both participated in bowling activities in Baltimore Maryland and Washington DC.

Upon their return to Oregon they settled in Medford and Gerry became involved in the Medford WBA, which in turn became Rogue Valley WBA and subsequently Rogue Valley USBC. During those years she held various association positions ranging from committee member to Association President. Her committee participation included local tournaments, lane certification, BVL and numerous others. Gerry has also been honored with awards, such as Medford WBA Bowler of the Year, Medford Hall of Fame, Life Member and Oregon Bowling Writers Ginger Frazier Award.
